The last 20,000 posts took more than eighteen months - and part of that included Nemo who probably outposted the rest of us combined.

While there's no urgency about creating a new board, I do appreciate the heads up. Maybe everyone else could run with what I suggested a while ago: Try to recruit new members. Just a few new members would bring a lot of new ideas to the board. (Look how exciting it's gotten with just fizzy and ctj posting!)

I've periodically plugged AtomicBobs on the Breitbart site. While users *sometimes* express interest, I've seen no evidence that any of them ever actually logged on. Too bad, but I'll keep trying.

As for this board having drifted too far down the road to looney toons, I hate to tell you but it's the nation that's done that, not this board.

I'd offer to set up a new board, but I think I'm a little too controversial. (No less than three members left because of me... or so I believe.) I'm also moving at some point, and my internet access may be affected. For those reasons, I nominate people who don't have those problems: either Zimbler or Beldin.
