Thanks De!

I don't see the cardiologist again until September 1 so I have a lot of time between now and then. These heart docs are really booked up..

I am not experiencing any problems but in fact have begun to feel the arthritic pain from the osteo arthritis in my hip on the right side in the Sacroiliac joint,, my S1,S2, L1, L2 spine area where Those vertebrae are loaded with it, and my right ankle joint which again, has more of its friends there.. In short, I am an arthritic mess with an artificial Right hip joint and a right knee that needs replaced, and ankle joint area that needs to be scraped out, and other than that, I am fine.. I just ignore most of it.. Only when I really overdo something does it remind me its still there..

I can only take a couple of Ibuprofen at night before bed for relief at bedtime. Its all they will let me take.

Better than nothing so I'll take it.

My dog knows something is wrong. Its amazing how they sense things like our demeanor, mood, general appearance.

He is at my feet laying down next to me on the floor while I am at the desktop computer. He is a special boy.. 4 years old now and extremely smart. Very affectionate and yet protective. He is 70 pounds and about three feet in length and hisback ocmes up to over my knees.. He is a Red Heeler, cattle dog. They are a herding breed that herd cattle and come from Australia.

He is special.. The runt of the litter, 8th born of 8 pups and all others had been adopted except him. We saw him on social media in a city about 60 miles away and went to look at him along with our granddaughter..

We brought him back with us.. He gives me great joy and happiness. His bed is on the floor right next to where I sleep on our bed. He never leaves my side.

So I have been blessed with a protective and affectionate dog to raise and have fun with..

His name is Charlie. He loves to play with my daughter's 140 pound Alpha Male Husky who is also another big softie... He loves to "talk" and stand up and look eye to eye at you and "talk" Huskyese.

KAI is 4 and Charlie is 3.

Anyway, my house has gone to the dogs! Miz micro has TWO dogs in the house.. Charlie and me..

It's time for me to get ready for bedtime. I do wear out earlier than normal but it is getting better. I have regained about 12 pounds after losing almost 50 . I don;t want to gain any more but would refer to lose those..

I haven't weighed this little in a very long time and I like it.. Even dropping the 12 pounds backwill only get me to high school playing weight for the football, baseball, basketball teams. I married miz micro 25 pounds less than that. It would be interesting to try to get back down to that weight. I would be a lot lighter and a lot thinner. Better for my heart also I imagine..

Got to say goodnight and go recline in bed as I am fading energy rapidly..

C-y'all tomorrow Lord willing..

micro..

Re: “If you read about it and the average length of time a person who has this lives after they have been diagnosed, it is on AVERAGE 5 years.. Not ten...”
Have you followed up on the problem? Because not all cases of heart failure are the same.

In 2021, I posted (to you, I believe) that my clogged valve had caused heart failure, with likely permanent damage. My cardiologist was not overly concerned about it because the surgery had removed the cause of the failure. At this point, I am confident that I could play tennis or backpack up a small mountain. I'm okay. Even my lousy sleep habits are improving.

That's why I asked you if you had been examined to determine the cause of your congestive heart failure. If the cause was the blockages that you had bypassed, then your heart may not get any worse and may even improve. And even if your heart can't improve, the cause of your CHF should be determined in case the cause can be treated to stop the deterioration.

You need to learn about your condition and not just take an "Oh well. I guess I've only got five years" attitude. There may well be things you and your doctors can do to significantly extend that.
