"...if you turn against the most popular candidate in your party by far....if Republicans don't hang together, they'll hang separately."
---
A few years back I asserted there wouldn't be a 2024 election.
What I meant, of course, was that if there wasn't a declaration of martial law preempting the election, it was only because everything was ABSOLUTELY "in the bag" before even a single vote was cast. Either way, no election.
For that reason, and others, I thought it might be wiser for Trump to stand down and let a curveball like DeSantis run.
DeSantis trumps Biden's "raised by a Puerto Rican family" back-story with real Spanish. And if DeSantis was backed by a majority of native Spanish speakers in this country, as Obama could count on a supermajority of blacks FOR RACIST REASONS, it would be a whole new ball game. Specifically, it would dramatically shift the precincts, which had to be completely rigged. It takes years, if not decades, to invisibly suborn the machinery of a voting precinct.
The overt abuse of the judicial system to PREEMPT any choice by freedom-loving Americans, however, has changed all that.
If all freedom-lovers (no matter what their politics) don't come together to promote Trump as the Republican candidate, at this point, REPUBLICANS MIGHT AS WELL NEVER, EVER, VOTE AGAIN. Do I have to tell you way? If the Deep State has the absolute power to pick the candidates they can never lose again. You may THINK DeSantis or Haley is your candidate, but they CAN'T be if they are pre-approved.
DeSantis, and everyone else "running" as a Republican needs to step down. They can, hopefully, still keep their position in line to run if, for any reason, Trump isn't allowed on the ballot. But, otherwise, they need to step down. Those who don't are NOT your friend; they are Deep State vipers, and should be spit upon by free citizens one and all. Hopefully DeSantis is smart enough, and authentic enough, to find a way to do this gracefully. I still like DeSantis; I like him as governor, and I expect I would like him in 2028. -Fiz
