When I look around the world for ANY half-decent country which has both resource potential and cultural integrity potential to become the NEXT "shining city on the hill" for human-kind, the only contender I can see is Russia.

Please note, I am NOT saying Russia is some sort of ideal right now. Indeed, I specifically said "half-decent".

Does that mean I am a Russia booster? No, not really. I just look around at the alternatives and I don't see any, at all, which combine both the economics and the cultural integrity. China fails on cultural integrity, unless you think a great civilization can be built upon people who behave like ants and think organ harvesting is an export. China is just too alien, and culturally bankrupt to meet the "cultural integrity" test any time soon. China has lost its memory of its heritage: Confucius, and the Tao. It would be a CURSE upon mankind as a primary superpower.
So, pray it isn't China.

And where else do you see a country which has any fire in its belly, any strong "Christian"/Protestant moral and cultural heritage, and has been immunized against from WEF , Marxism/Socialism, Bidenism? The only really weakness I see for what Russia COULD become is currently its declining ethnic population. But every other country which has even half the cultural/intellectual potential of Russia, plus other prerequistes also has population decline...or even collapse. Maybe an argument could be made from India; I honestly don't know the country well enough...but I fear it is too multicultural to ever become culturally unified. Plus it severely lacks natural resources and is freaking hot and poor.

If you disagree with me, please lay out your case. I just can't see anything else. Possibly something eventually emerging in southern S. America. Everything else is polluted, or already spoiled, usually in more ways than one.

I think this could be an interesting topic to explore. If we can't argue for any future at all, I'd say we
have an even bigger problem. You want to argue for the US? Go ahead; make your case, but start off with how you are going to REMOVE both the "Wokism" and "entitlement" mentality any time in the next two hundred years. We're are SEVERELY polluted with stinking thinking; and at least half the population will fight to retain their "right" to live of other people via various entitlement schemes. And the national IQ in the US would be in COMPLETE collapse if not for the recent immigration from the Far East, including, but not limited to, China and India.

I said it at the beginning, I've said it at multiple points in the middle, and I say it again: WW3 STARTED when US created a proxy war in Ukraine. Further the US LOST WW3 as soon as its weaponizations of USD/SWIFT failed and countries around the world began moving away from USD as reserve currency.

NeoCons weren't bright enough to figure that one out, because they think only kinetically, although it was as obvious as the nose on a face, to anyone with a strategic perspective. And a better knowledge of history would have helped, gobs, also.

As long as Russia can fund new weapons with its oil, and limit its loss of soldiers as it has been doing, it is in NO danger of economic nor moral exhaustion. Russia has been through far worse, and the US "sanctions" since 2014 HELPED prepare it. 2014? Yeah, WHEN THE US TOPPLED THE UKRAINE LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT (to the extent any govt can be legitimate in a moral cesspool), and installed a puppet government. Russia had 8 years "heads up", at least, to prepare for "sanctions".

Russia+BRICS can continue this, if necessary for ten, twenty years, or longer. The entire 100 year+ "shun" from the West has hardened Russia to autarky, quite effectively.

Meanwhile, everyone knows Ukraine would be on life support within days, if not hours, if the US EVER stops giving it blood transfusions. And everyone knows the US is dying - even as it continues to spill out its remaining blood in wastelands across the globe. And WHERE IS THE US GETTING ITS BLOOD FROM? Good question. From US citizens and Ukraine citizens.

So, time is very much on Russia's side. The US military is impotent in this scenario. Maybe all scenarios, now that "Woke" is official policy.

It's safe to say that if the Ukrainian counteroffensive was currently making significant gains, everyone would know about it. Not only would mainstream media headlines feature celebratory daily news of any big gains on the ground, but it would not be the case that the question of how Ukraine is fairing would actually be slipping from the headlines (as it is now), no longer a prime focus in public discourse.

David Sachs has observed of the current state of the counteroffensive that, "With each passing day, it’s becoming clear that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is failing to achieve any of its originally stated objectives." At the same time escalation between Russia and NATO grows by the day, seemingly with no off-ramp, now also with tactical nukes stationed in Belarus.
