It places Mohammed at the top and Jesus third.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

You're right, Micro. I gave you a star and I take off my hat to you. I used the term "Christian" in the same general way we other broad brushes including "Muslim".

There is a really good book. The 100: A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History
by Michael H. Hart

As I recall, the book places Mohammed as something like #2 and it puts Jesus rather further down the list.

Why? The author says that if people who claimed to be Christian actually followed Christ's precepts he would likely be #1. But VERY few Christians follow Jesus' example, in particular with regard to loving their enemy and returned violence with peace. And so, as the author concludes, Jesus may have been remarkable, but he wasn't all that influential in getting his putative followers to actually follow his example. Mohammed did better in that regard.
