I have become rather discouraged with the spiritually weak state of most humans; including myself. It rather sickens me to see so many pathetic creatures. It remind myself of your saying about how "good times make weak men..." but that only comforts me so much.
At this moment, with what seems like the apocalypse playing out all around us, but framed with SUCH a stupid plot, we are beginning to see some real heroes step up who are quite obviously willing to give up everything in order to reset the game:
Trump
Tucker
Musk
RFK Jr.
maybe Greenwald.
There are doubtless others who have stepped up with that sort of attitude: "you are going to have to kill me in order to stop me, but if you kill me you still won't stop me, because your killing me will set other things in motion."
Anyway, JFK Jr. is one of those luminaries. Trump was bad enough for "the Swamp", but the Swamp clearly has a plan to deal with Trump. They have no plan to deal with Trump PLUS JFK Jr.
Some people on this board look at JFK Jr. and judge him on his family. But if you REALLY want to judge him you need to start with the FACT that not all members of the family lived a quite comfortable life. JFK was ASSASSINATED by our own government for daring to stand up to the government. RFK may not have been assassinated by the government, but you can bet he was prepared to be -- and likely would have been, and -- who knows -- maybe he was.
RFK Jr. COULD have taken the path of easy pleasure all other members of the Kennedy family seem to have chosen: cooperate with the corruption and enjoy the perks.
I see Trump as someone who had arrived, but put it all on the line in order to put truth to corrupt power. I see RFK Jr. as more or less a similar figure. You can BET both of these people, and I think everyone else on the list above, recognizes there are worse things than death.
Most Americans don't have it in them to EVER put everything on the line for what is right.
Anyway, yes: Trump alone was going to be beaten. If RFK Jr. stays the path, Trump won't be beaten. Killing Trump now will only make things worse, now that RFK Jr. is also following his own vision of a righteous path. And, again, as at the founding of this country, it is the group all acting with independent initiative , with everything to lose, who are fighting for the bulk of the American people. I'm beginning to get some hope back; Tucker; then Musk; now RFK Jr.
The person I have not mentioned is Snowden. Truly a spiritual giant. He fully expected to be assassinated for, if not captured and tortured for the rest of his life, for what he felt spiritually called to do. Even now the spiritual midgets of the world, the cowardly and hypocritical "necons", who never had the integrity to take a bullet as they want others to do, revile him.
It's getting late. It's been a long day. I am probably rambling, again, too much. But, yes, those of us who want our freedom back owe a debt to RFK Jr. (as with all the rest who have stood up, including many who are unnamed right now, at this dark hour. He didn't HAVE to do this hard thing. He did it anyway.
