Thanks for asking. Nicely. I guess I didn't explain my thinking as 1-2-3 well as I thought I had. ;-/
To start with, notice I didn't say a word about HOW MUCH the "warming" would be. I did try to make very clear I didn't think it was anything worthy of being in the top 99 of humanities problems to be addressed with "government".
So, let's say you light one candle and burn it for 1 minute. Congratulations: you've now contributed to "man-made global warming". What else shall we talk about? The point is, the heat was sequestered, a wo/man released it: man-made global warming.
As I said, we were overdue for another ice-age. An ice-age is clearly not on the horizon. So a good hypothesis might be that man-made global warming has forestalled another ice age. An ice age would cause a LOT of extinction. So maybe man-made global warming is a really, really good thing??
