They need to have psychological evaluations in particular with obsessions about believing the bigger and more government one has, the better off they are.
Problem 2 is that they believe the more money that gets "spent" which means going into sink holes that nobody ever sees but usually winds up in politicans pockets, that the better we become as a people and society.
Of course where that excess money wonds up in reality as opposed to theoretically ALWAYS is far different.
Democrats also believe that the government knows what is best for all individuals.. They find ways to intrude into the everyday lives of Americans. his present administration is a prime example. Obama was a prime example..

I know those are horrible and despicable things to believe in but if one gets those straight first, then we don;t have to worry if one of them were to run for some office.
