This hs just dawned on me. It is clear.
Seeing all the strife, really the word is strife, going on in America, it is obvious to me that people have lost sight of the ball, scurrying on to unproductive directions.
There was just an election here, people voted, peace and quiet, and everybody’s is bent on moving on. There are several concerns, immigration being one, tax evasion, further modernization of the public sector, healthcare/hospitals, etc., but no one gives a dime about the woke, the anti woke, banning books, and all that idiotic stuff going on from all sides in America destroying the fabric that has kept the country strong, together.
Freedom of speech and democracy here are supreme. The problems will be dealt with as the country has really turned a corner. No one thinks things are great or perfect, but they don’t hate each other the way, the public way things are disintegrating there. The people here feel the future and seem focused. America otoh seems bent on destroying itself.
Watching from here what is going on there results in a WTF moment! I could not see it from there, but it is obvious from here. Somehow we have lost it, and have to figure out how to reverse this vicious cycle that the country is spinning in.
No wonder polls are at 74% that we are on the wrong track. Whatever the reasons for that high percentage of disillusionment, for me it is now clear: America is bent on “noise” and strife on every little bit of living one’s life, and substance has gone out the window as it is only viewed in black and white. Everything is skewed, the slippery slope is the track we’re on.
