The Spartans party got 4% or so, and they are the far right, nazis.
At least people don’t hide under another party in Greece. They are HONEST. They don’t hide.
In the States we have two parties where everybody tries to fit in, and look what we get, MTG, BOBERT, Jordan, Comer, etc., critters who aren’t there to govern, but to get even and get reelected on the Congress gravy train by appeasing their crazy motherfker constituencies in gerrymandered districts, accomplishing nothing in the end for their constituents. Some on the left too are also out of touch, while they talk a good game like Bernie, but at least they are trying to go a certain way and not to make noise and try shenanigans and committees for show and nothing more, so there’s a big difference there.
Anyway, in Greece we have finally BURIED the socialist left for good, I HOPE. The two leftist parties got together 29% while the center right over 40%. Of course the communist party (KKE) is still breathing here with 4%. At least they aren’t hiding.
So, that’s how it is in the land of Pericles. We have never been united. Ever. But we ain’t stupid either. We’re just crazy when it comes to politics especially. And there always are the loser ….sheep with the low percentage numbers.
Educate thyselves. America can still learn from the Greeks.
