Fiz > How exactly do those graphs support that as the only cause of earth's polar ice/no-ice variation?
and
Fiz > I think government's have contaminated the data and not made their case.
and
Fiz > I only wanted to point out that humans DO add heat to the environment; are you trying to say that burning oil isn't an exothermic chemical reaction?
Point two first - the government(s) have most assuredly so contaminated the data that it is impossible to truthfully make any case as to what the 'climate' is actually doing.
Point three. Yes, humans do, most assuredly, dump heat into the environment. But that amount is minuscule compared to the energy the Sun bombards this planet with every single day.
Point one. Two of the sites I have recently referenced had a graphic showing how these 'Milankovitch cycles' are a change in the earths orbit. I believe one site claimed that the solar radiation reaching earth could change by as much as 25% (in certain latitudes) . . . Given that the sun is the primary thing keeping this planet from turning into a frozen ball of rock . . .

Milankovitch cycles: What are they and how do they affect Earth?
http://www.space.com/milankovitch-cycles
The Milankovitch cycles are the driving force behind ice ages, climate shifts and habitability of planets.
Milankovitch cycles are periodic changes in the orbital characteristics of a planet that control how much sunlight it receives, thus affecting its climate and habitability over hundreds of thousands of years.
Although Milankovitch cycles have nothing to do with the current climate change, they are believed to have dictated Earth's climate for millions of years, making the planet swing periodically between tens to hundreds of thousands-year long ice ages and warmer periods called interglacials, such as the one we live in.
