Sign of doom: Priests posing with far right wingers in political rallies. God, country, family, the three tenets of fascism. Isn’t that what’s also happening in America? It is very very close. Americans are naive to think it is not serious. It eats the fabric of a country/nation from the inside.
The reason they got back into parliament is the low participation rate in this election. Many thought that New Democracy would win big and didn’t bother voting, but these far right critters were only interested in getting into parliament and they managed it as more centrists stayed home and their own percentage went over the 3% threshold.
They will make stupid noise, like MTG, but the country is firmly on the path to progress for the next four years and there will be no turning back, around, or distractions worth a dime. MTG is stupid, but these guys are sharp as a blade and will be watched closely.
