Apparently the court left open one 'loophole'. It seems the court implied that an individual's personal experience, vis-a-vis how their race has impacted their life or how it related to the way others have interacted with them, IF the person can articulate it in such a manner that it would be relevant to their admission to the university. However, it still might require an actual statute to codify this so as to avoid future judicial impairments.

A persons' life experience should be considered;

1. their race
2. their financial situation
3. where they live geographically
4. if they are the first one in their family

as long as their grades are up to pare with the rest.

They didn't mention legacy & how that plays a part in getting admitted.

Or 'gifts' a wing donated, to get someone a seat.

This ruling will play a role in businesses, like who sits on the board, they won't look to be diverse.

Many act as if they are color blind, they must be blind if they can't see how color plays a part in life.
