...they say they just want to get rid of the assault weapons, but do ya remember the hell they raised when jfk was shot with a bolt action rifle or Reagan was shot with a revolver? They want everything and they want it now.

Re: “What's so horrible about that? ”I guess you don't understand. "Assault weapons" have no definition. The precedent can easily be tweaked to ban every semi-automatic weapon in existence. The 2nd Amendment would then be thoroughly trashed.

It's a very big deal.
