One YUGE problem with your 'reparations' . . . Every nickel the federal government 'spends' was stolen out of 'We The People's' pockets.

And then the military did not create the drug problem.

Whether or not the federal government created the drug problem is an interesting question . . . I do know that the biden administration has 'aided and abetted' the importation of said drugs across our southern border.

And lastly, the military are not 'welfare'. Believe it or not, the military plays a key role in the things that disincentivize various foreign countries from trying things. Such deterrence is not cheap, but it has been pretty effective.

Hey, I was just sharing notes.

My own thinking is different. I had a dream that all Federal and ex-Federal employees, especially military should be required to pay reparations.

Why? Well, there are many reasons. Here are a few: (1) Federal, including military personel, all received welfare, with stolen tax dollars, for not doing anything productive. They need to disgorge (2) The Federal government, especially the military, CREATED the drug problem. So now the Federal government - literally the people who purported to 'work' for the Federal government - should be required to fix it.

I don't know what is fair. To start with, what do you think about taking 50% of their government pensions and enforcing the Coinage Act of 1792?
