Acknowledging delusion as "reality" induces mental-illness consequences, for the person who does the acknowledging. If they can get you to go along with the delusion, they can delude—and dilute—"you" further, and further. The further you slide, the faster you slide, and the harder it becomes to get back.
They know that. That is doubtless why they are doing it. They pulled that on Ted Kaczynski, against his will, and we all saw the result. At least he rebelled, as best he could, in kind. http://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=unibomber&ia=web
When they pull that on people and get them to "sort of" AGREE to go along with it, I would expect the process of losing self-determination to go a LOT faster. (Normally takes time to completely Shanghai an identity by force.)
Take them further and further out on that limb, and, at some point, they become what the woo-woo crowd used to call "a walk in". Basically a hollow husk for a "demon" to inhabit. I have a fair amount of training in psychology and hypnosis; that is what I would expect to happen.
At that point your Masters could probably get you to execute your own relatives or other innocents. That happened in China, during their 1960s Cultural Revolution, in Iran, in Nazi Germany, and elsewhere. It is well established in FACT. That radical a split also shows up in multiple-personality illness; one part of you doesn't even know the other parts exist.
You are not as much "you" as you think; especially if you don't have a pretty deep spiritual life to hold you together through the abuse. That might be a good enough reason to GET a spiritual life, via free will, while you still can!
We can be pretty sure, also, that plenty of experiments were conducted on US military personnel. That would have been too good of an opportunity for the psychopathic authoritarians to pass up. There is plenty of physically-recorded history, dating back to the 1960s, of the government abusing draftees in many horrible ways to "test out" things like radiation poisoning, hallucinogens, PTSD, and syphilis.
That may even be where a lot of the NeoCons come from. Their monomaniac mindlessness has a whiff of installed programming about it. They cling desperately to their delusions of the US military always being a force for good, regardless of mountains of evidence to the contrary. Stockholm Syndrome. So, we should try to help them wake up, even as we question their claims to be "Conservative".
