Here is the troubling part of this statement to people who know how to use and are well trained in the use of firearms of all types.
The WORD ASSAULT WEAPONS keeps popping up. Want to bet whether or not RFK Jr. actually knows what an Assault weapon really is versus a fancy looking AR 15 with a scope that if ya pulls the trigger only one round gets fired????
Too many ignorant politicians are so intent on "BANNING" "ASSAULT RIFLES" and have ZERO, no, LESS than zero clue about what an actual asault rifle really is versus a nice sporty looking AR 14 or 15 that looks a lot better as a single shot, one squeeze of trigger and one round is fired, than anything that has been around a long time.
Because it LOOKS really neat and so many are purchased these are the rifles these dumb asses who are anti-gun keep referring to.
ASSAULT WEAPONS are things you would find in the military that are fully automatic.
SO what these politicians really mean in their gun banning is that they intend to introduce legislation and by hook or by crook make buying a common hunting rifle like an AR 14 or 15 impossible because they look really cool. So the gun grab is on whether you realize it or not due to sheer and utter IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY on the part of these people, Including RFK Jr. That dumb sob wouldn;t know an assault weapon if it kicked him the arse.
He should stick to talking what he knows about and what he does not know about, he needs to get educated about that by real people who actually use them before he decides his mission in life is to ban "assault " weapons".
Assault weapons are not available to the general public as it is.. SO, another dumb politician is willing to take my guns away because he is a moron and a fool. And anti-American to boot because he apparently thinks the second amendmnet is not necessary..
So, that is what I get out of it.. No, he does not have lots of leeway. He should be crystal clear about people'
s rights to possess and bear arms period. No ifs, ands, maybes, or buts.
This is all I am going to say because it is a point that one cannot be a weasel on and not even know what the heck they are talking about..
