Las Vegas Athletic Department? Laughing Laughing Cheesy Grin

Thanks for taking the time to look a few things up for me De!

It is my right ventricule I believe that is damaged. The wall is gray in color instead of reddish.. Apaprently there was oxygen/blood reduction for a long time that caused that. All four of my major arteries feeding the ventrical were 100 percent clogged. I am actually surprised I am still alive.. Its the chest pain in the heart whenever I start to stand up from sitting position that lets me know it is not happy.. I don't know what that is about but not knowing kinda scares me. I don't want to go to the ER to find out and the cardiologist is booked until September.

So I wonder now where I go to get information. MAybe another doctor not in this hospital group?

Cleveland Clinic has partnered with a local hospital which is part of Tri Health, a three hospital consortium.
The Cleveland Clinic spent a lot of time and teaching other Heart Doctors there about their practices and procedures so they could help people here in the south end of Ohio . They are the nations premier place for heart problems. I wonder if I can go see them if they are in my providers? Hmmmmmmm. I know the Hospital, Bethesda North is in my group because that is where I had my spinal fusion surgery performed.

I will look into that. THANKS!

Re: “LVADs”
Here's something you should inquire about. It's even from clevelandclinic.org - local to you!

While LVADS do involve surgery, they go in the abdomen so it's relatively easy for the patients. For you, recovering from LVAD surgery would be a cakewalk.

CORRECTION: This article says it's not a cakewalk. Years ago I'd read about LVADs being implanted in the abdomen. But this newer article says they go in the chest, beneath the heart. So the recovery won't be easy at all. Sorry about that. Sad
