I recently reconnected with a lib friend who ended our relationship over politics.
This was his one condition:
“Yes, of course (we can be friends again), but don’t push the nonsense you write on Twitter. I’m trying to pull you back to normal life. You can’t look at the world from a MAGA perspective and think your are normal.”
I…don’t know what to say.
I’m not “NORMAL” if I have conservative values and want my country to be the greatest on earth?!
How does that work?
My MAGA values are:
Safe streets.
Closed borders.
Low taxes.
Affordable goods.
Affordable housing.
NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
No racist hiring practices.
No inflation.
NO SEX CHANGES FOR KIDS!
So when he said that, I knew one thing for certain:
That he’s the crazy one, not me.
I just want what every normal person wants.
He and his fellow liberals have been so weaponized against Republicans, that they don’t even realize how insane they are.
I should have said this to him but instead I just gave the ????emoji.
Because I’m just so tired of fighting the insane.
Everyone in Philly AND EVERY DEMOCRAT PLACE ON THE EARTH has been radicalized against me and people who think like me by their news media.
And I’m sorry to finally see:
There is no cure.
Because this guy danced in the streets when Biden “won” in 2020, and he’s ready to vote for him again next year.
We’ve reached the point where we should have to take a mental fitness test to cast the vote.
