Right on target, well, close, last Sunday I wasn't feeling great, blamed it on a great wedding, a few drinks, and talking a lot more than normal over the loud music.. Sore, hoarse throat, ringing ears, but it was great to see everyone.. But Monday, not getting better, Covid tested, Positive. Then one of out Granddaughters, also feeling bad, tested positive, oops, then my wife, then our son in Law where we had a BBQ last week... So far nobody at the wedding, so it's pointing back to that BBQ... Paxlovid, now past the midpoint of the 5 day sequence...
None of us had any earlier Covid, we just had gotten our 6th boosters a couple weeks back, preparing for the wedding.. My Doc said it's not IF you'll catch it, just WHEN... But this is a lesser variety, upper respiratory, not hitting the lungs like the early rounds...
5 day quarantine, will still show as positive for 30 days, but no longer infectious after the 5 days...
We thought we'd made the grade, missed it for a long time, but... It's still out there!
