...I know little about rocks either but your "collection" looks like it might have the makings of a science project for a desperate HS student. Brings to mind a science project of mine that consisted of a lot of leaves (leafs?) I used in a similar project. Did the entire project for a gal I lusted after. She was on restriction and could not date til she got her grades up. My project brought her science grades up so she promptly made a date with me and then stood me up for a goofball. I hope he's a wife beater and she married him.

Unfortunately, I'm now reading that Arizona doesn't have diamonds. There IS a variety of quartz called "Arizona Diamond" and I suspect that's what I've got in that last pouch.

That doesn't mean the "Diamonds" weren't worth $50 at the time they were first purchased. Maybe they were. I'll have to look deeper before I declare them officially fake.

Like I said, rocks aren't my thing. Maybe one of you can give me some tips.
