after reading this it makes me wonder if there really is a United States of America (people) anymore. It seems that all the power is located in the Executive branch and under their control and they use that to terrorize people, ruin their lives, all the while getting off scott free of all the criminal things that they do..
UNless and until I see that there really is accountability and criminal behavior and acts being dealt with in the appropriate way for all, I guess I just do not see that the United States I grew up under, my parents grew up under and my grandparent, exists anymore..
Wrong is right and right is wrong. Immorality is the new norm for behavior and nobody dares say that out loud.
I am getting too old to continue to watch this crap and sometimes wonder maybe it is just best to have my days fulfilled and leave this world behind..
We are thinking of leaving our accumulations to our grandchildren as neither of my daughters needs our wealth.
I look around and see governments even in townships out of control mugging over the local citizens all in the name of "progress" while destroying all that they had lived for by taking their land and homes and uprooting them all in the name of progress. Of course none of the A holes involved live here in this area or have contributed in taxes to the local schools or community like all of the folks who just had to go find new homes somewhere else after being in theirs for over 40 years.
To say I dislike governments of all kinds because it is unchecked would be a vast understatement..
So locally it is not really any better than nationally.
That was the point. Sleezebags abound everywhere and there is no shortage of them.
I believe my country has just about left me and lots of others as well.
