don't ya wonder if some of that CASH is somehow coming back into the Biden's coffers via some more connect the dots schemes? I would not be surprised if that were the case..

As far as more funding and assistance, I want to know when enough will be enough.. Are we going to fight a war on the sidelines with the Rooskies and have no control over the equipment and money is used and I doubt much accountability either?

It just seems like this will be a long drawn out affair and the only ones who get screwed are the American Taxpayers.

There should be some kind of time table when the free stuff ends because it ain't free to we the people..

And I trust Zelensky as much as I do the average thug who breaks in and steals things from stores almost mightly out on the west coast with impugnity.. Zelensky has no oversight that we can tell.

Not saying the Ukraine soldiers are to balme as they im are doing great against the odds but the free endless supply and stream of American equipment and money has to stop at some point.. It cannot continue to be an endless stream.. JMHO...

55% of Americans OPPOSE more funding for war in Ukraine: CNN poll

Biden has sent billions in cash and weapons and has promised even more.

by ThePostMillennial.com

A new poll out from CNN shows that most Americans are not on board with sending even more funding to Ukraine to aid their war effort. The Biden administration has sent billions thus far in cash and weapons, sent another $2.1 billion in June, has promised even more, and is undertaking to build more munitions to send to Ukraine to fight the Russians.

Now, 55 percent of Americans have said "the US Congress should not authorize additional funding to support Ukraine" while 45 percent are still in favor of sending more, and 51 percent say the US has already done enough for the beleaguered nation.

The US Congress, however, which has approved funding to Ukraine, doesn't even have a clear sense of where that money has gone. While many on the GOP side have asked for accountability and an audit of how US funds were spent, measures to bring in auditors have been rebuffed by the Democrat-led Senate.

These numbers are in contrast to polling shortly after the February 2022 invasion, where 62 percent of Americans said "the US should have been doing more." As the war effort has dragged on and shows no signs of letting up, American support has begun to falter.

Support for the war is split between the warmongering Democrats and the isolationist Republicans, with 71 percent of GOP respondents saying that no new funding should be authorized, and 59 percent saying the US "has done enough to assist Ukraine." Democrats back the war effort, and further funding to the tune of 62 percent, with 61 percent saying America should do more to fight and support Ukraine's war. Liberal Democrats are the most supportive of the war effort, at 74 percent supporting. (It sounds to me as if the supporters are, by and large, the gullible. - De)

CNN asked respondents about the type of support they thought the US should provide, those who were in favor of further funding said that intelligence gathering should be a priority, with 70 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of independents, and 56 percent of Republicans backing that idea. 64 percent of Democrats were in favor of funding military training, and 61 percent of that same political persuasion were pro providing more weapons.

Independents were only 39 percent in favor of providing more weapons, and Republicans landed at 30 percent. Both parties as well as independents, were opposed to approving actual US troops to go fight in Ukraine. US special forces are currently stationed in Ukraine, operating out of the American embassy in Kyiv.

Methodology: CNN's "poll was conducted by SSRS from July 1 through 31 among a random national sample of 1,279 adults initially reached by mail. Surveys were either conducted online or by telephone with a live interviewer. Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points; it is larger for subgroups."
