Probably been two or three years since I was last at an Olive Garden. Way too many excellent, local, family-owned Italian restaurants around here to choose from.

...mz ribit and I had dinner at Olive Garden a week or so ago. Everybody on the staff was pretending to be something they wasn't I think. Service not all that good. Food slightly better. They give you a black cloth thingy yer eating tools is wrapped in. Don't aske for another one. Ya won't get it. Paper napkins are only available at the bar and ya can't get one unless you buy a drink. Food not as good as McDonalds and while the McD folks have a basic surliness that is unapproachable by normal people, Olive Garden folks seem to feel that you are a interloper into their domain and ya should be off immediately.
