why don't ya just buy silver and gold at one of the dealers? You can get real gold or silver in your hands in the form of coins. Yeah it will cost a little more but it will be 100 percent gold or silver. Just saying......

Iffen ya wanted a nice formal dining utensil set then ya done good. And if y'all are happy that is all that matters. I prefer to purchase gold and silver in coin fashion..

The last silver lot I'll mention tonight (there were more) is this Bahamas Proof set. The two largest coins are Sterling silver, and the next two largest are FINE (80 percent) silver. On Ebay, sellers have the same sets for sale for between $100 and $125, plus S&H which is usually another ten dollars. That still doesn't tell me how much silver is in the set... but THIS site, APMEX, has a very similar package (the same year and the same coins, I believe) and says "The total Silver content of this set is 2.8723 ounces." Now, if they mean TROY ounces, then the set has $66 worth of silver in it. If they mean standard, avoirdupois ounces, then the set has $60 worth of silver in it. Either way, it's worth more than the $47 that I paid.
