Well, this is the week of spending time with physicians for me.
I have appointments and exams with three physicians all in one week including my cardiologist who wants to do some additional tests. My Liver doctor and my primary care are the other two. I am just hoping the liver specialist gives me a good report after more vampire extractions of blood.
I have questions for my cardiologist my primary care cannot answer so I am looking forward to finding out a little more about my heart condition. Best wish is that he can for certainty say everything is fine and no damage was done.
The surgeon told me the front wall of my heart has turned GRAY in color while it normally would be red. He was a little surprised but it likely was damaged from lack of blood flow. 4 main arteries were 100 percent clogged. That's why they could not believe I was still alive and did not suffer a major heart attack and die. When they found out I had Hip replacement six months before that they could not believe I survived the surgery.
So I must be an example of it was not God's appointed time for me to leave this world. It's the only explanation that makes any sense. Four different doctors said I should be dead. They can't all be wrong. But it just was not my appointed time to go to heaven.
SO I am somewhat excited to see my doctor again in better circumstances.
BTW, I want to give you all a word of advice.
IF you have not been vaccinated for Hepatitis A, I highly suggest you do so. Walmart Pharmacy does these as do other pharmacies. If you have good medical insurance or on Medicare advantage plan it is free of cost..
You do not want to come into contact with Hep A as it will take you months to recover. I had to rehab just to be able to walk again. I might remind you I was a five sport all state athlete at a large high school and played class A mens softball until age 44. So I am not a couch potato or big fat slob.. I was second team ALL State in Ohio for two years in big school division of football.
The Marines took me to another level of fitness and self preservation.
The Hep A virus I somehow came in contact with just devastated me. I would not wish that on anyone else as my wife had to literally try to feed me for a couple of months. I was too weak to get up or sit or walk.
Just something to think about..
Hepatitis A will also attack your liver and destroy it if left unchecked. Mine was damaged which is why I have a liver doctor.
SO, consider the Hepatitis vaccine if you have not had it because it could spare you lots of medical problems and save your liver..
