De

Miz micro and I have 6 tomato plants growing Roma tomatoes and one growing Big boys. My son in law brought us over a bunch of seedlings he did not need that he grew so we planted them to see how many we could kill with our black thumbs.. Surprisingly none have died and all are beginning to bear fruit. I have picked four so far but a ton are on the plants ripening. We will be donating tomatoes to the neighbors I am sure as I really do not eat them except a slice on a burger.

So we are gardening this summer but not working very hard at it.. (my kind of gardening) lol!!!

Re: “I bet the colors around De and Miz De are just spectacular this time of year..”
Not yet. Mid-September to early October. It's still very green here. As I drive around, I see some people's gardens have tomatoes that are beginning to redden. I find that astonishing. This was the soggiest, cloudiest, coldest summer I've ever seen.
