After growing and evaluating about 25 varieties of tomato, ROMA has remained one of the handful of winners that I will grow every year from now on. It's not that I like Roma tomatoes so much as that they produce early, over a long period of time, and have enormous yields. I like tomatoes, and Roma tomato plants will give me something to eat weeks before any other non-cherry variety. I definitely understand now why practically all grocery stores have them.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Miz micro and I have 6 tomato plants growing Roma tomatoes and one growing Big boys. My son in law brought us over a bunch of seedlings he did not need that he grew so we planted them to see how many we could kill with our black thumbs.. Surprisingly none have died and all are beginning to bear fruit. I have picked four so far but a ton are on the plants ripening. We will be donating tomatoes to the neighbors I am sure as I really do not eat them except a slice on a burger.

So we are gardening this summer but not working very hard at it.. (my kind of gardening) lol!!!
