This POS wastes our money and government in political pursuits instead of taking care of Floridians.

For another example, what has Florida and the people of Orlando gained because of his Disney fetish? NOTHING. In fact they’ve lost business and now pay higher taxes. He has not done one thing to help his constituents, not one. Insurance rates off the roof, guns in the streets, random crime, hate crime, construction and hospitality can’t find prople to do the work with aliens fleeing the state out of fear, same with the LGBTQ crowd that is very prominent in every way in. Broward and Miami Dade counties where most of Florida lives, he’s got it all. And then there’s …..Covid, at the top of infection rates and deaths lists in America.

Florida judge rejects state congressional map championed by DeSantis

A Florida judge on Saturday struck down congressional district lines for northern Florida advocated by Gov. Ron DeSantis, ruling that the Republican governor’s map had improperly diluted Black voting power.

Circuit Judge J. Lee Marsh concluded that the congressional boundaries – which essentially dismantled the seat once held by Al Lawson, a Black Democrat – violated the state’s constitution, which protects minority-access districts.

Marsh’s order blocks the state from using the map in congressional elections and orders the legislature to draw a new one. The DeSantis administration is expected to quickly appeal the case all the way to the Florida Supreme Court.
