I am glad to hear that you did not fracture anything as most shallow creeks are full of rocks and sometimes some can be pointy and large. You are fortunate you did not break a bone and I am glad you didn't.. Thumbs Up

So if the only thing that got wounded was a little ego or self-esteem, that was a successful plunge!
Glad you are alright cuz it could have been far worse....

Re: “how deep was the water and what was the temp?”
Just a couple of feet, though that hardly matters when you land ass-first. My phone and wallet were soaked. Both somehow survived. The worst part was how sandy everything got. That was amazing since I wasn't in the water for more than 20 seconds. Somehow the sand found its way through my jeans, into the folded wallet, and into the plastic envelopes that held some of the cards. I'm just glad the wallet wasn't leather.

My cheap cell phone is apparently indestructible. It never stopped working.

The water temperature was comfortable. If I'd been dressed for swimming, I could have stayed in it longer. I WOULDN'T have - because I'm paranoid about leeches. But I could have.
