It sounds to me that the biggest gripe I am reading is about the mortgage rate, which really sounds like those people thinking of buying a home cannot really afford to.

Anyone remember the Carter Years? Mortgage rates got to over 20 percent. I know because I took a position at Grumman and was looking at a new home there near the company and was told 21 percent mortgage rate.

I stayed there at the company a month and decided and decided I did not like the area or the company so I resigned and kept my house I had built.

Carter was the worst President up until Biden..
