Thanks Sir Wizard.
I did nothing except the very least I could do which was give my respect to those who died at the hands of terrorists and those who sacrificed themselves to save others in taking that jet down in a Pennsylvania field.
It is difficult for me to talk about and think without stirring up distant memories of more younger days like Ribs as I know what it feels like to believe that you are likely to die very soon and yet face that and keep on fighting.
It is hard to describe but for civilians to go through that and to do what those brave people on that Jet over Pennsylvania ALL agreed to do before they acted, is an act of heroism that should forever be remembered.
Those first responders running toward the twin towers and many getting engulfed themselves trying to rescue others they did not even know.
I ask myself if I would be brave enough to do that knowing I may well perish also. That is what all those first responders did..
They were not self centered egostists like the ones you mentioned on another board who only take from others but do not give selflessly to others if it may cost them their own life. It's a shame they even live in this country and enjoy the benefits of those who protect and defend their sorry arses. None of them appreciate what it takes to do just that. Clueless is the perfect word.
This nation has civilian heroes that it should always remember and honor their memories imo..
