Too funny Sir Wizard !
I am always happy to learn of marriages that people have taken their vows seriously and both members act like mature unselfish adults. Congrats to you BOTH !
Next month we celebrate number 49. It just happens we were given by our daughters a large gift card to Jeff Ruby's Restaurants here in Cincinnati. He is pretty famous in the tri state here for his restaurants (Three total) and they are formal dining with the menu pricing reflecting that in a large way.. I ordinarily would not spend the money there as there are other very nice places to dine for less but on special occasions with your lifelong spouse exceptions can be made. Miz micro is not particularly enamored with going there either but it is a free formal dinner so sometime we will get there.
I would like to go Charleston, S.C. for a week and take in the floral gardens of the city and scenery there.
A nice bed and breakfast would be a great place to go.
we were going to do this over 30 years and I had reservations made at a nice B&B and I came down with
mono a week before.. I had to call and cancel and we never made it back... It's on my bucket list.
Miz micro is somewhat like yours in the tossing area but at least now she asks me beforehand..
Congrats to you and Miz Beldin on your standing by your vows and staying the course. We are only ten years ahead of you and those will go by quickly trust me.
Ribs can verify that. Time has a way of just keeping on without our noticing it too much..
I am beginning to notice more only because of all the varieties of health issues I have run into lately and some like my arthritis in my joints that need replacing is a reminder of human frailty. The knee is next on that list. Same side as my artificial hip, right side.
Anyway, back to watching futzball!
Hook'em Horns !!!
