Since becoming a member of the Big 12 of which Texas and Oklahoma leave next season and join the SEC, the Bearcats, (my alma mater) get to play Oklahoma this coming Saturday.

They go thumped last weekend and this weekend will definitely be worse. Its life with the big boys and they just do not have the size or caliber of athletes that the football factories have or can attract.

I think with them going to the Big 12 might help them recruit better players and they definitely need size also to compete with the rest of the league, especially on the lines of scrimmage. Its going to be a long season fort he this year and their first year coach we stole from Louisville over the summer with the departure of Like Fickel to Wisconsin who has its own problems..

Seems like every time we get a good coach and the program is doing well some other school manages to come and steal them away.. So we start all over, do well after a couple years, and lose another coach.. Maybe belonging to a better conference will help keep some stability there I hope.

We shall see what Ohio State is made of this weekend as they travel to South Bend to play the Irish.. That should be a test.. It looked like the offense started to click last weekend and I Know coach Day was after the LINES all week to improve their play.. We'll see how that works against a real opponent next weekend..
