ANYONE wearing those things when there is snow and/or ice on the ground deserves what happens.. I believe they checked their brain at the door and walked out without it..

I LOVE snow.. It ain't winter unless there is snow and it ain't Christmas unless there is either.. It's just part of winter and another wonderful part of living here on God's earth. Of course, walking outdoors while there is slippery stuff on the ground requires more than a 2nd grade education also...

Its not the snow we worry about because ya can see it.
It's the ICE and freezing rain.

I broke, shattered, my right wrist two days before Christmas a few years back due to a layer of glazed ice I did not know we had and tried to break my fall using the football stiff arm method. The wrist did not support the weight and impact so I had to have surgical reconstruction and several bones pinned.

It only snows up here because our fellow Americans south of the Mason Dixon line would not know how to deal with it so we are taking one for the team.... Cheesy Grin Naughty

I hear high heels are great for traction in the snow and ice of the frozen wastelands north of the Mason/Dixon Line ...
