That I haven't found . . . But I got curious about the top speeds of our fighter jets . . .

Seems that old F-4 Phantom topped out around Mach 2.2

My all time favorite, the F-14 Tomcat used to hit Mach 2.34.

The Air Forces F-15, newer than the Tomcat, seems the fastest American jet at Mach 2.7

The F-16, single engine, only does Mach 2.0

The vaunted F-22 Raptor also seems to top out around Mach 2.0

And the latest, the F-35 only does Mach 1.6.

Kind of makes me wonder.
