His father is NOT a citizen.
Yet his policy wouldn't allow birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to undocumented immigrants. That has long been guaranteed under the 14th Amendment, which states: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.”
