...the nice folks in the ukraine are destroying Migs of all sizes and shapes with cardboard drones. Under similar circumstances I don't think our F35 would do any better.

I got more curious . . .

The Russkies seem to have the fastest fighter jet out there. The MIg-31. Listed with a top speed of Mach 2.83 - with much risk to engine and air-frame the MIG-31 could possibly go as fast as Mach 3.2

Of course, if they can't 'see' the F-22 Raptor or the F-35 they won't know that it is time for them to try and outrun them.
