Texas showed who they are and why they deserve a lot more recognition than they get. This is an excellent team.
Penn State is better than most people realize. A thumping of a tough Iowa team yesterday, shutting them out no less, was simply amazing. They will give Michigan and Ohio State real competition this year and those games are up for grabs.
UGA beat up a no name tiny school once again. I guess they is trying to keep an unbeaten record and don;t play anybody until the SEC season begins. I do not understand teams playing cupcakes except for one reason alone: to help those teams financially with their programs. I know its why Ohio State plays early some teams like that and they get a HUGE financial take for that game. It helps them with equipment purchases and other expenses because they don't have piles of money the big schools have.
But Puhlese, one cupcake generosity game only on the schedule. Otherwise it looks like someone is padding their record with wins over nobodies.
If yer really good you should just play anyone who is of your caliber so the game is a test and not a cakewalk..
