The .50 BMG is still the undisputed KING for a round that will go through-and-through multiple bodies. Having a trained sniper with a scoped Barrett overlooking the field of battle is like having a warm, fuzzy security blanket ... kind of like hearing "BRRRRRRRRRT" overhead ...

However, this would give a member of the squad a little extra heft in a normal-sized rifle. The range results said it was devastating against light vehicles, so I imagine it will punch through concrete block to get at anyone hiding behind it.

wonder how many bodies standing one behind the other a round will go completely thru?

Out of curiosity, is this per chance going to be used in the military ground forces?

Or would the M16 still be better?
