Every few days or so, another Democrat takes their turn boldly declaring a ban on 'assault weapons,' whatever those are. Every time, the American people remind them the Constitution says, 'nuh-uh Senator.'
Today is no different.
Tammy Duckworth (@SenDuckworth) ~ Imagine all the shootings we could prevent and lives we could save if we reinstated a nationwide assault weapons ban.
Wow, Tammy ... you truly are stupid. Instead of simply chanting an asinine mantra given to you by the DNC, why don't you stop and think about these truths ...
* Shootings are already illegal in all 50 states - just enforce the laws that are in place.
* When you arrest perps, don't let them back out on the street with no-cash bail ... throw them in jail, prosecute them, and then let them rot in jail for the rest of their lives ... or execute them.
* The last time you Democrats passed a so-called "assault weapons" ban, it didn't decrease gun violence. Look it up, you dipsh!t.

* Criminals don't give a sh!t about your "assault weapons" ban, Tammy ... they're going to use their weapon of choice no matter what you have to say about it.
* The only people you are going to harm are law-abiding American citizens who choose to exercise their Constitutional rights to defend themselves from criminals.
* You can't even define the term "assault weapon."
WearingMyMask (@JonathanAEvers) ~ Just think how great you could make America if you could just get rid of that pesky constitution.
Yep, that's what Tammy really wants ... because The U.S. Constitution gets in the way of her fascist wish list.
Kimberly Morin (@Conservativeind) ~ Not many. Just like last time. IMAGINE all the murders we could prevent if we got gangs off the streets; stopped the illegal drug trade; re-opened mental institutions and actually used them.
Toxic Something Podcast - w/ Keith Burgin (@KeithBurgin) ~ A fair request, since your imagination is the only place that works.
Monika (@MonikaMusing) ~ Go after bad guys with guns, not law abiding citizens.
Woke Zombie (@AWokeZombie) ~ Last I checked, murder was illegal in all 50 states.
Sarcasm for a cause = Virtue. Eleutheromaniac. (@pallee12) ~ We don't have to imagine. The number is zero. Just like last time. There was no drop in gun crime under the last ban. NEXT!
Grateful one (@yogurtpro) ~ How would that work?
Tammy doesn't know ... it just sounds good in her feeble lil' fantasy world.
NJ2APatriot (@Nj2APatriot) ~ Define assault weapon.
Based and Biased (@based_biased) ~ Civil rights trump that idea.
Ah, but Tammy is a fascist ... she doesn't believe in constitutional rights.
Brian Talley (@brianstalley) ~ Any weapon can be considered an assault weapon.
LincolnHillsFrau (@bayareahausfrau) ~ Yeah, I can imagine it. It would be zero. Zero criminals will care about a law telling them what kind of weapon they can have. Why don't you show you can stop drugstore looters before taking a bite at a weapons ban.
Tim Decentralize and nullify (@Tim_The_Sandman) ~ That number is precisely zero.
Now, imagine all the shootings we could prevent and lives we could save if we encouraged everyone to train with and bear effective arms.
Sir Keegan - Conservative Cat. (@Mike04692) ~ Even more would be saved if criminals were kept in jail.
Keith Wilkins (@gigachurros) ~ Do you have any data? Or is it only hyperbole you’re offering?
Just woketard hyperbole.
Jeff Hallett (@jeff_hallett) ~
Larry Kraus (@lkraus01) ~ Hmmmm, easier to imagine a world without liberals.
They just keep repeating the same meaningless slogans over and over and their base cheers them on. But in the real world, the practical one where people have rights regarding these issues, it is absolute nonsense. Totalitarian nonsense.
Maybe try again on your next turn, Senator.
