Yes indeed. So many ignorant, non Bible reading and non believers are quick to cite those words in defense of something but they are too ignorant to realize that they took them out of the context Christ was teaching about..

In fact, HE said just the opposite. He wrote these words HIMSELF on a tables of stone that Moses carried back down the mountain to the Jewish people he had brought out of Egypt. We know them as the Ten Commandments, NOT ten suggestions, and they are currently still applicable to this age as they were to when they were first given..

I wish people who are ignorant and are not even real believers whose names are written down in the Lamb's Book of Life would stop citing some few words taken out of context and claiming they are what Christ said.

This is an old trick used by Satan on Jesus and Jesus reprimanded for it because HE is the author of those commandments.

In case someone does not know this, Satan or one of his demons (fallen angels) will use people who are not protected by the Holy Spirit of God which dwells within HIS own, to promote anything that goes against what God has said..

THIS was a prime of example of someone being used by Satan..

Ad blasted for twisting Jesus' words to support killing the unborn

'Judge not lest ye be judged'

by Bob Unruh

An ad being used by a pro-abortion organization in Ohio to lobby voters to support late-term abortion procedures there is being slammed for twisting Jesus' words to support killing the unborn.

The ad also drew the comments of Mark Harrington, the president of Created Equal.

"Twisting of scripture by 'pastors' to advance abortion should anger every Christian. We need to turn our anger into action to defeat Ohio's Issue 1," he said.

The ad, which is included in Harrington's commentary:

The ad, from Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights, features a "pastor" supporting the abortion ideology.

"Using the words of our beloved savior Jesus Christ to justify preborn child-killing represents a new low for those promoting an amendment that would enshrine unlimited abortion through all stages of pregnancy into the Ohio Constitution," a statement from Harrington said.

He continued, "Jesus' prohibition to 'not judge lest ye be judged' was not intended to be used as a blanket exemption from discerning between good and evil. In fact, in John 7:24, Jesus says, 'Do not judge according to appearance only, but judge with righteous judgment.' The admonition was not a command to tolerate every evil behavior, but rather to avoid hypocrisy."

Created Equal pointed to its own ad that features an abortion survivor:
