Hmmm.
I just compared the five year charts for Walmart ( WMT ) to Target ( TGT ) . . . It does look like Target is hurting.

By the way, anybody know why Clorox ( CLX ) Earnings are down so bad? I have a bad feeling about Clorox. I voted my proxy not long ago . . . and 'Diversity and Inclusion' seem to be the
'BIG thing' with them. In fact, they seemed quite proud of having a 'Diverse' board of directors. It looked like a LOT of their directors are more into 'Mergers and Acquisitions' than manufacturing good products. And I suspect they did the equivalent of 'padding the resumes' in their 'descriptions' of said directors.

For the first time I actually thought about maybe selling out of a name brand that I've had for years. Yes, I am thinking 'should I sell Clorox'?

What's that old saying? Well, it's not really all that 'old,' but it's something we're becoming all too familiar with in the year that is 2023.

And boy oh boy, are Target and Bud Light learning how this works in a painfully brutal firsthand way.

Guess that whole 'men can be women too' marketing message didn't go over so hot. Gosh, we thought for sure all of those 'MANLY MEN' pushes they tried after they knew they screwed up would do the trick

Oh, and Target is feeling it BIG TIME.

Corporations need to go back to being just corporations and until they do, they're going to continue to crash and burn. At this point, we're not sure if there is any saving Bud Light or Target.
