I would even donate any grits that are served to me to The King gladly. I agree with ya about overall climate temps plus you have that ocean breeze. What you get that I don't is hurricanes and tropical storms running along the coast line plus a lot of the land especially along (is it Indian River Rd.? ) is very low and under water.
I could survive down there but would miss the winter as I actually enjoy snow.. I don't like high temps and humidty combined. Your ocean breezes tend to keep that kind of stuff at a minimum.
Ya do know I was jes joking about the Ohio River versus the shore?? LOL!! I know I am some dumb but not plumb dumb.. lol!!!! Plus my memory isn't 100 percent either yet.
I do enjoy visiting for a week but that is plenty long enough.. I am really interested in going to Savannah Georgia for a little retreat with miz micro now that we is older folks. Not nearly as ancient as Ribs but we are not in our sixties either.. I think a nice bed and breakfast place would be great and to go see the Gardens and sights of this historic city and go over to the Island and spend some time there as well. That is what I am planning on doing maybe in spring.
Ribit will love the waffle House especially if there is some wimmen folk waitresses.
