You make a great point about consequences for ones actions with that Old Testament scripture.

Unfortunately, the ragheads of Hamas don't read the Bible
and have no understanding of Biblical truth.

Actions have consequences and I can only hope that the IDF
doesn't stop until all their citizens are brought back to Israel that were taken and that Hamas has no place to call home anymore in the West Bank. Level it to ashes..

Yep ... Isoroku Yamamoto was a brilliant military commander. He spent quite a bit of time in the United States and greatly admired America. He opposed the Berlin/Rome/Tokyo Axis Pact and was definitely not a fan of war with the United States. However, once he was commanded to plan the attack on Pearl Harbor, he set about it with great precision. And, yes ... all it ended up doing was "to awaken a sleeping giant" that would bring Japan inexorably to its knees.

As I read Stephen Green's article that you posted, I thought of some other sayings ... more "commercial," but still true in this case ...

The leaders of Hamas would have been far better off if they had stopped to consider and gain an understanding of Hosea 8:7 ~ "They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind ..."

Oh, well ... on their heads be it.
