All of the "Coach Prime" three-ring-circus that kidnapped our television sets on Saturdays became nauseating, very quickly. If Colorado had kept on winning, then they might have been able to get away with it ... for a little while longer, anyway ... but predictably, that didn't happen. And, the networks are every bit as culpable as Deion Sanders.
I don't know if any of you have watched the Colorado football games, so far, but one thing that has stood out for me is watching these guys on the sidelines ... don't know who they are, but they're not in uniform ... constantly videoing (with either video cameras or cell phones) certain players going on the field, making plays, and coming off the field. The "star" players for Colorado are not playing for their school - IT. IS. ALL. ABOUT. THEM. They are there for no other reason than to promote themselves, period, end of story. I realize there is an element of this on all teams, but these guys are taking it to a whole new egregious level. VERY narcissistic!
