Zim

that's pathetic and sad .

That said, keep in mind that a lawyer likely did not write that but rather some assistant to the attorney..

That does not mean that some lawyers can't be grammatically ignorant or careless, but rather that most have an assistant who is not an attorney and does a lot of the menial tasks for them so they can keep working on the legalese stuff. This is what my daughter tells me.

Just FYI..

In either event, what you said is just mind boggling!

The Rapidly Declining ROI of a Four-Year Degree

http://pjmedia.com/stacey-lennox/2023/11/10/the-rapidly-declining-roi-of-a-4-year-degree-n4923790

In a wake-up call for higher education, an October survey found that small businesses are increasingly dissatisfied with the pool of college graduates and many are no longer interested in hiring new grads with a 4-year degree. The Freedom Economy Index (FEI), a joint project of Public Square and RedBalloon.work, found employers have issues with the work ethic college students display as well as the quality of their preparation for the workforce.

(Article does continue. Zim.)

I recently had an 'interesting' interaction regarding the 'dis-education of America'. It seems a lawyers office which is supposed to be overseeing the audits of dead peoples final accounts . . . has an 'auditor' on their payroll who is too stupid to recognize that if the page one of a checking account has the same beginning and ending balance, and the sections in between all have zeroes in every category, then they don't need the page two detailing checks and other charges because there weren't any.

Long story short, next to last thing I got was a letter admitting that I was right, with poor word choices in it. And a demand for more documentations (that I had not sent).

A lawyers office . . . with 'someone' who apparently can't write a truly coherent letter?

And don't get me started on our 'prestigious universities' falling all over themselves enrolling clowns who's SAT scores say they don't belong in college.

Zim.
