Yum!
That sounds great!
All of my children and grandchildren will be here this year, and my wife's only remaining two slightly older sisters. One is widowed and the other has never been married. She is very self sufficient and had a great career at Cedarville University and no, she isn't one of "those" kind. She just never found a guy she ever fell in love with and marry.
She is so good to the nieces and nephews and she and my wife are very close.. We have her down here over the holidays and have a bedroom that is hers whenever she wants to stay down here. She lives about 75 miles north and a little west..
I love the Holidays. It's my time of year.
I am going to give some thought as to when to wrap up my working careers. I am getting weaker and do not have the stamina I had before. While I truly enjoy my clients and have made some very good friends, I am getting to the point where I simply do not enjoy driving all over as much because it sucks energy out of me more easily..
So I need to reach some decisions by next year..
We are millionaires so money isn't an issue. I just needed something to keep me interested and feel like I am helping other people and passing on some knowledge learned over 45 years in industry.
So I am leaving tomorrow early afternoon to go see a client in Columbus and then continue up to Cleveland. I have appointments on Thursday at three different companies then and will drive home later in the afternoon.
LAst road trip before Thanksgiving. I need to go out west again before snowfall to see several clients in Louisville, Evansville, St. Louis, and Owensboro, Ky,
I need a younger person to do this in the near future.
So that is where I am at...
