Visit the link at the bottom for several videos of the phenomenon. I'm not able to post them here.
It should be visible to us again in a few days - but a certain amount of luck is involved, not the least of which is a cloudless night. I'll be watching - with camera in hand.

People report seeing string of lights in the night sky
by WGAL.com
We often get reports, photos and videos of a line of lights moving across the night sky. And everyone wants to know the same thing - what are they?
"I was just outside having a fire when my cousin ... saw some weird lights in the sky, and we decided to record it. Might not be anything crazy but I'm just trying to get a better idea of what it is," one viewer said.
What are the lights?
If what you saw was a row of lights, or the lights were all in one line, moving in unison, odds are you saw the satellite array called Starlink, which is operated by SpaceX. You can see what it looks like in the video player above and in some of the ones below.
There's an easy way to find out if you saw Starlink. A website called findstarlink.com lets you plug in your zip code to see when the satellite array was recently visible - and it lets you look up times when it will be visible again.
What does Starlink do?
The Starlink satellite array offers broadband internet access to countries around the world.
Currently, there are more than 2,000 Starlink satellites orbiting the Earth, according to Wikipedia.
