I am hoping that my daughter and family in Virginia Beach are heading our direction soon. I am anxious to see her and my grandsons and son in law again.
I hate that they live so far away but if they like it there, so be it.
The boys wind up growing up without much interaction with their grandparents and don't really know us or our in-law's very well.
The lame excuse we got was that our son in law did not like the winter here and all the snow..
WHAT SNOW ??? We rarely get any and if we do, it is only an inch or two at most.. All winter long.
As for winter, we are on the Mason Dixon line and our winters are generally mild. It may snow a couple times all winter.. They work out of their home so what difference does it make?
Sonny boy's parents are older than us and live farther north toward Dayton. They don't get to see their grandchildren much either.
Obviously we are not huge fans of where our daughter and the person she married have decided to roost for really lame reason.. I suspect the real reason is different than the stated one but there is nothing we can say or do about it.
So we see our daughter once every three years or so maybe.. We are not flying and putting up with the crap the TSA terrorists want to do to normal people. If I want to be mugged and searched I can go to a subway anywhere .
So its best just to avoid it.. These mass holes wanted to strip search my wife because their wand beeped when they scanned her even though she has a medical card showing she has a metal replaced knee. That was not good enough..
I now believe if ya is too stupid to be employed anywhere else one can always get a job groping people for the TSA. And as a passenger being groped, ya really can't get vocal about it or they will haul you off..

Oh well. This particular son in law really just pizzes me off.
